Not sure if I am tempting the fates with this post but Ps spots are fading slowly with no new. and J really does seem to just have a barky cough and cold. I am still waiting to hear if the people we saw last weekend (before we knew) will succumb to plague but am hoping not ......... honest. We have diligently cloistered ourselves away to the point of hermitdom. I think today we can safely state everyone will be back in school Monday and well pretend this whole week never happened. So very grateful that Ps vaccinations obviously did what they were supposed to because he really never felt sick ..... it was all very mild. Yeah! Now just need to arrange some counseling to recover from all this togetherness ..... bwah hahahaha. I kid, I kid. But not really. ;) Things I learned this week: -chipits are the happy pills of the pantry. -quarantine 2 boys in a house all week and the house will smell like goats ..... and no amount of showering can change that -do not google any virus .......... EVER -getting your period in the midst of a week stuck indoors with 2 sick-ish kids is very ill advised -a fever in an 11 year old boy, who has declared himself too old for cuddles, will make him cuddly :) -puddle walks are still fun with spots -2 boys will never tired of a box of old lego -when time outs mean everyone just retreats to a corner to read a good book ..... they are pretty darn ok -chipits, did I mention chipits?
