Not sure if our ship modellers know, but White Ensign is closing down permanently on Friday. A great shame, but it doesnt surprise me at all. With current postal regulations effectively restricting their excellent paints to the UK only, and intense competition in the ship oriented etched detail market theyre reduced to mostly being an e-retailer of other peoples kits. With an unprecedented range of mainstream styrene kits now available even their resin kit market must have been shrinking severely. I hope that someone picks up at least their resin detail bits and the various Naval Colourcoats in the same way Hannants have taken over some other cottage industry ranges
