Not sure if this was intentional on the theaters part or not but before showing American Sniper, they ran this episode of the Twilight Zone The Monsters are Due on Maple Street. Dating back to 1959, this is essentially a morality play about how fear, ignorance and suspicion quickly turn to prejudice, violence and chaos among ordinary people. This is really quite brilliant and totally relevant to where we are today in a world governed by fear of the other. Brilliant. You can see it online here: imdb/video/hulu/vi2799413017/
