Not sure when this one-man, centre-right think tank became a constitutional expert. Importantly, hes talking about political and organisational structures, not the re-distribution of wealth. This is a right wing critique of state power (in which an implicit appeal to local capitalism is inherent) of a vaguely American ilk. Im not advocating an all-powerful top-down state, but babies and bathwater spring to mind. The State, any state, should be viewed with suspicion if it is anything other than a delivery system for social equality and the services (health, education etc) that underpin this. I suspect this fellow sees the State as a regulator for capitalist enterprise and nothing more.
