Not sure where folks get this idea that as Christians prayer should be our only response to every foolishness going on in our world. Go read your bibles again and again and again...Why do you think Jesus disciples carried swords? Why did Jesus turn the tables and whip the money changers? Why did he not simply kneel down in a corner and pray for the offenders? Why did Elijah the prophet of God kill 400 prophets of Baal? Why was Israel permitted by King Asahuerus to carry swords and defend them selves if need be? Why did the children of Israel carry swords while rebuilding the wall @ Jerusalem? This idea that all we are supposed to do is pray and nothing else is a lie from the pit of hell and those propagating it are complicit in the advancement of evil in the land. Luke 22:35 And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?” So they said, “Nothing.” 36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. 37 For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’[d] For the things concerning Me have an end.” 38 So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.” Jesus asked the disciples arm themselves with swords..why??
