Not that much changed demographically in the midterm elections. Major difference? Although demographics are the same, white seniors turned out in larger numbers. So, this is the deal. Every four years, we get a younger, diverse electorate; at the midterms, we get white seniors. The younger, diverse demographic is mostly progressive; the older white one is conservative. Thats the great American divide, people.
