Not the best shots ever, due to distance and the sun behind my subjects, but I got a few halfway decent photos of the American Goldfinches at French Broad River park (a flock seems to be nesting there for the summer, and feeding on the weeds in the photos, that recently flowered and have gone to seed). If anybody knows what type of plants these are, please let me know-they almost look similar to Evening Primrose in the shape of the flowers, but Im pretty sure theyre something else. Whatever they are, the Goldfinches sure seem to like them!!!
