Not the result almost half of Scotland wanted. I dont believe that the No voters are cowards, nor are they any less Scottish patriots than the Yes. I think every one of us wants the best for our country and future generations, and many of the Nos were swayed by the promise of more powers and a better deal for us Scots. Possibly fear of the unknown? But one thing I am certain of is that if these promises arent upheld, and we are not allowed to make decisions within our own country, for the greater good of our people, nor given the powers we are entitled to, none of us - neither yes or no voters - will sit on our laurels and take it up the wazoo. We made a statement for the whole world to see yesterday - We are Scottish and Proud. Do not ignore us! There may only be 4 million of us, but do not underestimate what we are capable of on the world stage. If Westminster and/or any elected Scottish Parliament messes us about, theyll not get a second chance. Because at that point, there will almost certainly be no no voters for them to get onside :-)
