Not to excessively belabor the point, but this is a really difficult time of year for transfolk. Were often made to spend it with people who hate and demean us, or were made to feel broken or inferior because we have managed to escape those people. Were simultaneously told to desire family, and that were wrong for trying to get out of abusive family situations. Worse, tragedy often brings more tragedy, and there has been a lot of tragedy for us this year. Trans Lifeline is a crisis hotline staffed by transfolk. Were better positioned to listen to and talk about our crises than cisfolk are, generally. Please rebroadcast, because chances are very, very high that you know someone who needs this, and chances are even better that you dont know they need it. Dont be intrusive. Just get the word out.
