Not to much to report on Drew today. His numbers are still improving, and his chest X-ray and ultrasound of his kidneys both came back with good results. At this point its just waiting for his numbers to get back to normal so he can finally come home. The social worker came in today to discuss what happens when he leaves. Insurance wont cover home health unless he is home bound, which he isnt, so they were saying he would have to drive to the Heart Institute twice a day for his IV antibiotics. We told her that would be extremely difficult for us so hopefully they can find another option for us. Other than that there isnt much to report for today. Please continue to pray that he gets to come home soon, and the many weeks of antibiotics will clear up all if this infection. Thank you again for all your support. I will continue to update daily with more news.
