Not too many days of school left this year, and so much I still want to do with the kids. 37 days, I think - trying to plan takes on a life of its own, with end of year interruptions, schedule changes, events, and of course, the fact that testing is over and some of the pressure is off (whether it should be or not). Did you see the ridiculous memo from the PED pushing the idea that instruction should continue during testing, because even if three tests a day are administered, there is still over three hours that should be used for high quality instruction. They just dont have a clue, about kids endurance, how long the tests take, or much of anything else having to do with the classroom.
