Not training related. Any suggestions for at home grooming would be great! My dogs are shedding pretty heavily. Its that time of year. I dont have the money (nor do I want to spend it) on professional grooming. Baths make my dogs shed more which makes sense because it loosens up their coats. I know at a groomer they will use a blower to dry out the dog which helps a lot with deshedding but my dog is sound sensitive and he wont go within 6 feet of of a blow dryer let alone sit under one for a long time, thats SURE to put him over threshold. My other dog will put up with it and is extremely care free. Anyways, I have a knock off furminator but it only does so much. Anybody have suggestions on brushes, products or methods? Thanks! Grooming is one area of pet care where I really dont have a lot of knowledge. I have two dogs that are pretty low maintenance, short haired.
