Notable Nigerians are usually kidnapped, went through horrendous experiences, huge ransoms demanded and paid through a third party; victims are released followed by wide jubilation and celebrations, and then business as usual. Are these huge ransoms picked by ghosts? Are they paid in pound sterling and dollars? Even if they are, are there no third parties?
