Notably controversial. Would love your thoughts. If a company create a seed that produces only once, then they ensure a new purchase next year. If they modify the genetic code of the seed to produce more food (size) than an earlier versions, because they want to incrementally adjust the value the of the seed to increase profits. As a profit-driven company their role is to increase revenue and drive profits back to the shareholders. Is this company evil or its it perhaps simply capitalizing on an opportunity? Are the people doing this work unethical, or simply trying to make a living for their families? I want your thoughts ...
