Notasulga Volunteer Fire & EMS responded to a report of 2 tractor trailers that had collided on I-85 just south of Exit 38 Southbound Lane. Rescue 8 along with Firefighters Justin Weldon, David Morris, Police SGT/Firefighter Tim Phillips, and Police Officer/Firefighter Chris Johnson responded, Firefighter Danny McKinstry responded to the scene in his private vehicle, in addition Notasulga Police Officer Chase Wilks also responded to the scene.Upon our arrival we treated one driver for very minor injuries and assisted with traffic control until the scene was released to the Alabama State Troopers.
