Note: Death. - The benefit of death. Matthew 10:38 ESV And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. The cross is not milk and honey. It is a symbol of suffering and death before power. If you desire to walk in power then you must carry the cross daily. Death in itself is not the end to life but the translation of one into another realm of life. There are many benefits to death that we as believers can partake of. Paul understood this spiritual truth when he said; am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20. There is a higher life that we can never experience unless we die to the dictates of the flesh. The flesh is in constant battle with the spirit . A great man said; All of self, none of God, Less of self, more of God, None of self, all of God. Until we die to self we wont see much of Gods grace work powerfully in our lives. Our lives is hid in Christ so we must set our affections on things above and not earthly. We would die to the flesh only if we become heavenly conscious than earthly conscious. Jesus died for us so all we need to do is to allow Him through us then we would have the benefit of death. Not only areChristians born again when we come to salvation, but we also continue dying to self as part of the process of sanctification. Prayer: Lord, thank you for the grace to die to self and I am blessed in Jesus name. Love from Mal Kon Royals Contact info: +233244230025 seerroyals@yahoo
