Note to everyone whos posting lately that you cannot receive private messages on Facebook because you choose not to install the separate Facebook Messenger app on your mobile device ... its up to you how you choose to access FB, obviously, but if youre ever looking at Facebook on a desktop or laptop computer, you dont need a separate app to receive messages. So it might be more accurate, in some cases, to say people who write to you may experience a delay in getting messages to you. Just a thought. Ive seen a couple of these announcements, now, and it occurred to me that sometimes theyre copied and pasted without necessarily looking through the full operation of the site.
