Note to my kiddos, family and friends: After yard duties this morning, Kirby and I relaxed on the front porch enjoying the shade, a good cigar and a bloody mary. I was just pondering what a beautiful last day of August this was turning out to be. Skipped church, (again). Watching the bees swarm the potted plants, listening to the pond fountain, and just loving life, I melted into a nice sense of love for my perfect life with my perfect wife, kids and friends. I began to realize that life is not what you make of it, it is what you accept it to be. It flows with every breath. It is a continuous melody of grace, goodness, and thankfulness. It does not hurt that the bills are paid, the life plans made are working out, and OU won their game with style!!! The sun is shining, fall will be here soon, and all things are right in my universe. I hope things are just as good for all of you. Be well my friends!!!!!
