Note to self: Do not attempt to read The Brothers Karamazov and try to write the first page of your own long awaited book simultaneously! Needless to say your own writings will look like a maggoty mix of the remains of your soul! My main character comes across as a meritorious one dimensional being that never spend a day outside her own reflection in the mirror! This morning I suggest to the family that I need some time on a farm, painting the picture of me writing in a environment stripped of distraction. My daughter immediately shout out while doing cartwheels on the bed: Yes, i want to go to a farm! Husband: Yes, but will there be wifi and DSTV! My youngest, Skye: Mom, can I take my Xbox with. That suggestion just turned into a circus. No solitude to ponder the meaning of life, that I so desperately want to throw on the pages of my very first book! Reality, my Achilles heel!
