The 2011, which was fermented in tiny, specially designed barrels, boasts a fleshy, dense purple color as well as loads of white chocolate, espresso and ripe black cherries in its modern-styled personality. Still young and primary, its lavish richness hides the new oak component, and the finish lasts over 30 seconds. This over-achieving, limited cuvee of 100% Merlot should drink nicely for 10-15 years.
