Notes from our Sunday School Director: Our Sunday school children had their first liturgical experience singing with the choir on Nov 9th. I would like to commend the children for doing a great job! Many thanks to Phoebe Leask, Joann Bogardus, and our Choir for working with us to teach the kids the beautiful hymns sung in our church. We had a great time at our Halloween Party on October 31st. Thank you to all who helped and attended. We had a great turn out. There was lots of food, sweets, prizes, and FUN! Our Christmas Pageant is scheduled for December 21st - right around the corner! We are preparing for our pageant and will require some Saturday rehearsals, which are noted on the calendars that were handed out. Please help out by bringing your children to these rehearsals. Our program will go a lot smoother with cooperation practice. I realize many children are involved in school sports or on our own church leagues,however, it is important to show our children that church should be a priority and come first. All children who play church sports must be registered with Sunday School and attend. Children who do not attend Sunday school will not be allowed to participate in the Altar or church sports. I know this sounds harsh, but the children must meet their graduation requirements from Sunday School. I am sure we are in agreement that we are looking to teach our kids morals and values so they grow into the great young ladies or gentlemen that they are. Have a Happy and Healthy Holiday! Tom Hallas
