Notes from the airport this morning (mind you I was truly grateful not to be flying out of LAX): I had a complete Annie Hall moment where Woody Allen is in the movie line: A pseudo-intellectual couple next to me is discussing post modernism. Neither is even remotely correct in their assumptions or assertions and I desperately wanted to ridicule them. I do not because A) I am reading People magazine and snacking on Doritos, a combination that denotes a certain lack of taste and credibility and B) sleep deprivation has left me unable to construct a meaningful sentence and I was left responding to airline staff with brilliant words like Great and Yeah. Still, if I had a dollar for every time that couple said abstract.
