Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love continued… 1/9/15 Romans 8:35-39 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean that he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. (Father, I have kept my feet from following every evil way, that I might keep your commandments. I will search for faithful companions … faithful to you and your word. You called me to minister … you called every Christian to minister … to minister to the poor, oppressed, and the lost. I want to become holy in your sight. I want to walk with the wise so that I may become wise, not for my glory but for yours. Anyone who does not love the poor and oppressed may not be my close companion. My desire is not to offend anyone; however, I do have a choice as to who may share my personal space, and I want to use godly wisdom to make that decision. I believe I have chosen wisely. Nothing can ever separate me from the love of Christ. I want to grow in my understanding of you and your word … grow in grace toward others. I am very thankful and excited about this new year at Millbrook and Christ Central. Miss Judy’s loving kindness toward me and my condition this morning was very encouraging. Thank you Father for moving on her heart to be so compassionate and loving, and the fact that she understood that I’m just not physically able to work today. I do love her very much, and her opinion matters to me more than I like to admit to people and even you sometimes. Only those, whom you really love, have the ability to deeply hurt you. A brand new year lies before all of us – good Lord willing – and I do not desire to waste a single moment of it on what is either harmful or useless. I do want to live – full tilt! Hallelujah … this is indeed progress! Nothing … no situation or person can ever separate me from the love of Christ … you promised me that. Amen.) https://youtube/watch?v=XDAt7ZWeamA
