Nothing against people with kids, boys and girls...but there is a new show about 10 years old and under (little tykes I think they call it on Esquire)...who play football, where as the coach just generally more or less berates the kids from the start of practice and/or a game until the end. It sort of makes me wonder, if these coaches were so good, why if these coaches were/are so good, why arent they in the NFL. Then again, I can barely stand watching the NFL, so why on earth would I want to see a bunch of 7 year olds bump into each other! Now if it were my kid, it MAY be cute...but to have it on national television for the whole world to see... I for one, really dont get it, sorry and no offense in any way... I just truly dont get it. Now if your child is a superstar, God bless him, I may even show up to see such a phenomenon...but to dedicate hours of coaches yelling at kids that are merely 7-10 years old should (and in my humble opinion) not be subject to such treatment...that win, win, win attitude, at all cost...Ill pass! On that note, I could also care less about the NFL, so that may not help! Still and all, just had to say it! Good night. I hope and pray the best for all, make no mistake and dont take this the wrong way. Its only because I care and think there are better ways to teach/reinforce good behavior and proper discipline in kids...not kill, kill, kill! Peace be with you and yours.
