Nothing can ever be normal for my darling Jacob... Unbeknownst to him, Jacobs school--Upson Lee Middle School-- held a fundraiser for him today. After receiving a call from his Principal-- Rhonda Lowe Gulley -- we stopped there on our way to yet another doctor appointment. His awesome fellow students and the wonderful teachers generosity brought Jacob to tears. I can never repay how overwhelming it was to watch Jacob realize how much he is truly loved and to be able to feel it all around him. The words Thank you just arent enough. I am truly indebted. Once we finally made it to his doctors appointment, we received the unfortunate news that Jacob has yet another infection. Hell be receiving 3 different types of really strong antibiotics so hopefully, it wont take too long to clear his open sores up. The fungus that has spread to his hand was frozen (painful!) and theyve decided yet another treatment for his foot. At this point, were just trying to keep that fungus from spreading anymore and causing Jacob to lose his foot. Were home now, and its been a very emotional day so Jacobs curled up beside me sleeping. I want to again thank everyone for their love and support. Its comforting to know that my little man has so many Prayer Warriors on his side....
