Nothing in this world brings me a more perverse delight than reading movie reviews of terrible films. a jumbled botch that is so confused in its purpose and so charmless in its effect that it must be seen to be believed, but better yet, no. Dont see it, dont believe it. bloated, misshapen mess, a stillborn franchise loaded with metaphors for its feeble attempts to amuse, excite and entertain. Bombastic, manic, and largely laugh-free, Wild Wild West is a bizarre misfire in which greater care was lavished upon the special effects than on the script. An execrable waste cooked up by a hells kitchen of directors and writers. Its death-of-laughter by committee. Its title? Because its like one of those many asteroids out there—a dismal chunk of rock hurtling through an empty void, without purpose. might have worked as a screwball comedy or a satire, but can you believe for a moment in characters naive enough to actually live their lives following Steve Harveys advice? The result is a tiresome exercise that circles at great length through various prefabricated stories defined by the advice each couple needs (or doesnt need). The Family That Preys doesn’t worry about how it gets from A to Z. There is no problem that a miraculous (and preposterous) plot development can’t resolve in two minutes. The Smurfs may be blue, but their movie is decidedly green, recycling discarded bits from other celluloid Happy Meals like Alvin and the Chipmunks, Garfield, and Hop into something half animated, half live action, and all careful studio calculation. actual abduction may be preferable to the movie of the same name, but only if your kidnappers dont torture you by forcing you to watch it
