Nothing is greater than God. No affection can replace His. Never can a spouse, sibling, child or parent compare. So dont waste time being dissapointed by anyone. Only God can love you you completely. Let expectations for everyone else be simply human. Never replace God with anyone elses mere humanity. Ask Him to bless them. They didnt fall so far short of what you demanded on purpose. Remember you are just human yourself. Do you want to be measured by your own measuring stick? Then stop doing that to them. Let God hand you His mercy. Remember Hes been putting up with you and them for way longer. So you may wanna ask Him to share His secret on how He does it.
