Nothing lasts forever and after 30+ years of making prints , it’s time to give it a rest! My incredible wife Donna has run Historical Art Prints with ironclad perfection since the very beginning and now she can have a well-deserved retirement . In a week or two we will hand over the remaining inventory to Britain’s Ltd. who will take over as Historical Art Prints with a new website. As far as collectors and our dealers go not much will change except you’ll be dealing with new faces in a different place. Britains may continue to publish prints and Giclees of selected new paintings and may still do special editions for classes and groups, etc. . As some as the transfer is complete and the new website is up we will notify all of our dealers and collectors by email and on FB. Expect some hiccups in the transition as always happens in these things. Historical Art Prints will remain open until the end of the year to finish out existing business , sell any remarques remaining and help Britain’s with the transition. We thank all of our wonderful collectors of decades and hope they will continue on with Britains which is an excellent old established company. Donna and I are also deeply grateful to our superb staff, Robin Feret and Candee Cochran who will be leaving as well after years of dedicated loyal service. The upside for me is not having to deal with the prints I’ll have much more time to paint and concentrate on commission work which I will do until I expire at the easel! (any rumors of my retirement are patently false) I’m planning to concentrate a little more on the Revolution and 1812 but will continue with some Civil War. I’m working on a new “artist” website and will post notice here when it’s ready. With all that said , I’ll be posting updates here as these events unfold.
