Nothing like being miles from home laying in the dirt watching your horse running away bucking and kicking up a storm, lol. What happened was a killer cow lifted its head and said boo Solo jumped sideways, lost his footing and fell over onto me, he scrambled up, Im in the dirt with one foot in the stirrups, now is when he good stuff happens. :-) I kicked my foot loose before he started running, I called his name, he stopped running, turned around looked at me and waited for me to come to him, When I got to him, he was fine, I was fine too, might be sore tomorrow, but grateful I had headache this morning and was preloaded on advil, lol. I got back on and we both had a nice ride home, I got almost all the way home before I realized my ball cap fell off in all the commotion, so back I go with my mare, it is my favourite ball cap after all. LOL.
