Nothing like feeling HORRIBLE already, and then hearing your kid SCREAMING...I go flying in there, and there is a good sized bat flying around in Syds bedroom....I yell for her to get out, right about that time it hit her ceiling fan, and fell to the floor, where Phoebe went after it....Syd grabbed Phoebe up and held Stella back....I ran and grabbed a bowl, threw it over it, and did what any woman alone w/ 2 kids would do....I called 911...and I said not sure if you all can help me or not...and lo and behold it was Theresa Ashwell that was my dispatcher! Well when this was all going on, I was on the phone with Susan Meador Smith...she and David Smith beat the officer here, and David slid it over into a rubber maid type bowl with a lid, so that I can contact animal control in the morning so that they can have this thing tested for rabies...thankfully all of our dogs are vaccinated! UGH what a night....I was already feeling pretty sick from infection I am fighting still....and then this happens! Not a happy camper tonight....and my girls are bordering hysterical right now!
