Nothing..protects the heart like patience. Dont get your hopes up tooo fast.Dont let your fears speak too loud.Dont give your doubts too much time.Not everybody is built to handle the rough times.Cant be surprised when you fall off with certain people.Or even all of them.Few people understand what it means to reallllly be there for somebody.And thats sometimes the roughest part about being on a journey, you realize the main ones that said theyll ride, are the first to fall off.People make promises when the sun is shining, and make excuses when the storm comes.Ive heard them all.Thats why im always thankful for the rain...it washes away the unnecessary. The reality is..you could be amazing, genuine, and sincere, but still be overlooked..or misinterpreted. Because honestly..i dont think most people want real anymore.Most not all..but most.They want reasons to complain..and excuses to avoid.Having a good thing,is so hard,because meeting a strong person is so rare.So ive learned to respect when people find a way to run from me.im sad..but i can respect it.I realize my kind of love isnt for everybody. Im at peace with that.
