Nothing when it comes to me is ever easy. The surgery went remarkably well with Dr Khouri in Miami FL June 13th. About two weeks ago I started with little pin size holes underneath my breast folds do to scabs falling off and skin under the scabs not being totally healed. So the holes started to leak internal fluid and they got bigger and bigger. So on Saturday I had brewed a huge infection in my right breast. We went to the ER and I was admitted and they put me on mega doses of antibiotic IV. Well today is Tuesday and I am being discharged today. Tomorrow I am flying to Fort Meyers FL to stay with Gary and Karen Smith, my lifelong family friends. Love you both! They said I can stay with them as long as I want till I get better. Thank God for friends. Thursday I am to be at the Miami breast center at 9:00AM for Dr Khouri to see me. I am to stay NPO after midnight because he might want to do surgery that day to close these holes. From FT Meyers it is about a 2.5 hour drive. Karen Smith will be with me and staying with me all day whatever I have to go through like surgery and to drive me home. Karen, Thank You. You are my big sister and always have been my big sister. Bob is going to stay in phoenix and continue to work so in Sept when I have the second half of the surgery on my breasts he can take the rest of his vacation days. I am 4 weeks out after surgery and the removal of my silicone implants and I am feeling so much better after having them removed. My health is improving big time. No more joint and muscle pain, no more hot flashes none, my heart rate and thyroid is calming down. So this infection is just a bump in the road. I am so pleased with how my body and immune system are bouncing back. Dr Khouri is truly my life saver. Like I said nothing is ever easy when it comes to me. For some reason God always gives me many many challenges.
