Notice from Enterprise: Do you love sandwiches? Seriously, who doesn’t love a good sandwich? Especially one that you make yourself with carefully chosen ingredients, it’s arguably one of the most enjoyable culinary experiences a human can have. If you feel as passionately about sandwiches as Cardiff University Enterprise does, and would like the chance to have a sandwich of your own design sold on the high street then come along to the Workshop: How to Market Your Product: Seminar Room J – Fourth Floor of the SU November 12, 2013 from 18.00 – 20.00 This will be a hands-on evening run in conjunction with Cranks Sandwiches as part of their Cranks Great Student Sandwich Challenge. In this session we will design your sandwich, create a portfolio to market it and register your idea on the Cranks’ Facebook page in order to gain votes to win the chance to have your sandwich sold on the High Street. We will also explore how to market products in general. The essence of marketing is to understand your customers’ needs and develop a plan that meets those needs. Let’s face it; anyone that has a business has a desire to grow their business. The most effective way to grow and expand your business is by focussing on growth. This session will explore how you can increase growth by acquiring more customers and the tools available to do so while getting the chance to see your produce actually make it to market.
