Notice to Chelsea Heights residents of an upcoming gas main renewal project The Atlantic City Police Department would like to advise the residents of Chelsea Heights that South Jersey Gas Company has an upcoming gas main renewal project for Chelsea Heights. In anticipation of this project Utility Line Service will be performing a pre-construction video of the area as required by contract with South Jersey Gas. We wanted to inform the residents that the vendor who performs the pre-con video will be in the neighborhood in the next few days – weather permitting. They will be taking photographs and video for the gas main renewal project. The project is expected to begin in early February. The vehicle involved will be a Silver Chevy Tahoe – PA Tags “WARTHOG.” The vehicle will have an amber strobe/beacon with a construction sign on roof – indicating Construction Vehicle. The vendor may also perform a walking survey of the area.
