Nov 18 Announcements Schedule : Schedule I Attention Northview Leadership Academy: This Wednesday Nov. 20th Super Sophomores will be discussing problems in society and organizing for your service project. As always you must bring your notebook to receive credit for being there. Attention creative writers, if you have poem or short story you would like to see published in the next issue of Student Prints then listen up. Submit your piece to Miss Huey in room E-6 or Senior Henry Gray by end of today! Scholarship News: A few scholarships have arrived in the Guidance Office, come down and check them out! The girl’s basketball team is looking to start a boy’s practice squad to increase their chances for a winning season. The boy’s team will practice against the varsity girls two days a week. The boys who actively participate will receive a free t-shirt as well as entry into the girl’s home games. If you are interested in the boy’s practice squad for the girl’s basketball team, please see Coach Cymbolin in room F7 or after school in the gym for more details. Blood Drive: If any cool cats are sixteen or older and are interested in donating their groovy blood to help save lives, please see Mrs. Omey in the library media center for more information. All parental consent forms must be returned to Mrs. Omey before the blood drive. See Mrs. Omey in the media center to sign up for the Blood Drive this Friday! Employment Opportunity: An accounting and tax firm located in Lambertville, Michigan is seeking after-hours and Saturday help during tax season (January – April). This would be the perfect position for a high school student who is looking to pick up a little bit of extra money. For more information please check out the Job Board across from A2. Attention All Seniors: Support your class by decorating an ornament that will be sold at Cat’s Meow. Pick up ornaments in Mrs. Briddell’s room and get creative! The wait is ‘ogre’! Shrek The Musical tickets will be sold in the cafeteria during lunch periods beginning Monday, 11/8 through Friday, 11/22 and in the PAC Lobby Box Office Monday and Tuesday from 6:00- 8:00pm. Our box office can only accept cash or check as payment. Tickets are also still available online with a credit card at northviewtheatre .org. don’t wait to purchase your tickets at the door or you may miss out! Beginning today (Monday, Nov. 18), the new Northview Girls Lacrosse Program will be holding Open Gyms 2 times per week. This is your chance to come & try out this fast-moving exciting sport, meet other players, and work on your skills & conditioning. New Players Are Always Welcome!! We will share equipment if you dont have your own but a mouth guard is strongly suggested. Open Gym times are Mondays from 7:30-9:00 & Thursdays 8:00-9:30 in the Auxilliary Gym. There is no fee.
