Nov 4, 2006: Los Angeles Kings @ Phoenix Coyotes 4-6 Raitis Ivanāns and Georges Laraque square off after shedding the gear and Ivanans is first to grab on, Laraque backs off and comes in with a good left that connected. Laraque then looked to follow up with another good left and Ivanans threw himself off balance as he tried to respond with a left of his own. Ivanans pulled Laraque down with him and Laraque was able to get a weak shot in to the back of his head before both guys got up again. They got to their feet and Laraque connected with another good left that knocked Ivanans helmet off, Laraque attempted to follow up but Ivanans got the jersey over Laraques head and got in a good left. Laraque quickly got away from Ivanans and tried to get an uppercut away, Ivanans then began to lose balance and slipped to his knees and Laraque wrestled him down to keep him on the ice. This wasnt a bad fight, both big fighters and strong and Laraque managed to connect with a few good punches that Ivanans took well. Ivanans wrestled the jersey over Laraques head at the end and got in a good punch but didnt do much damage. Laraque connected with more but Ivanans got the best one in with the jersey over. Ill give Laraque the edge as he got more in and controlled the fight until the end, Ivanans got the jersey over and connected with one but that was all from Ivanans. Narrow win Laraque.
