Nov. 5 2014. Wes & I had dinner at Whisky River tonight - prior to the Charlotte Hornets vs Miami Heat game. Ive been there for the dancing & drinking but never for the food. I gotta say they have the largest, freshest, juiciest and all-around-best burgers in town - hands down!! Then, Wes took the Six-Wide Challenge of a burger (w/two pounds of ground beef) plus one pound of fries - in less than 30 minutes - and he did it - I couldnt believe it - neither could the staff!! That was a shocker!! BTW - Go Hornets! Beat the Heat!!
