Nov 7. Today Im thankful for an awesome and honest mechanic. Yesterday on the way home, my check engine light came on and the car started running rough. By the time I got home, it was noticeably worse. The knowledge I have about the inner workings of my vehicle could probably fit on the head of a pin, so I had worse-case-scerariod this to the nth degree. Yesterday was NOT a good day from the get-go, so this was enough to push me right over the edge and into tears. When I picked the kids up, I asked the daycare provider if she knew of anyone, and she gave me the information for Mikes Auto Service on Kelbaugh Rd. (for all you locals...), and I am so glad she did. I called him. He had me come in today. And had my vehicle finished by 2:30. Spark plug coil had gone bad, so he replaced them and the plugs. $128 in and out. So, thank you to Mikes Auto and if anyone ever asks me for the name of a good auto mechanic? You better believe Im pointing them in his direction.
