November 11 2014. Remembrance day. And we should remember. Remember that ALL wars are a crock, funded by and solely to the benefit of banks, corporations and rich pricks who sit behind a desk dribbling over their cash, rubbing their hands together and laughing while our kids get killed. Remember there is no ideology worth fighting, killing or dying for. The countries we fought against yesterday we are fighting alongside today. And vice versa. The only ideology our leader acknowledge is go where the cash is; their only noble cause is make yo massa rich. Remember that anyone who puts on a uniform is as guilty as the fat cat who sent them off to fight, and either too dumb or too cowardly to say no and make a real stand for peace. Remember that all those who fought for our freedom in any war actually contributed to our slavery through their perpetuation not only of that war but of all wars - because of their willingness to fight at all. Remember that there are no heroes. They all died uselessly and pointlessly as cowards, too scared to say no to their real enemies and oppressors. Remember that the freedoms our brave girls and boys fought for, or are fighting for now, will be taken from us tomorrow by a government - our own government - which will do so brazenly, also in the name of freedom, by reference to the dangers of the very war they started. Remember, if youre wearing a uniform today youll be forgotten tomorrow. Ask a Vietnam, Falklands or a Gulf War vet (if you can even remember those wars). Remember, you can refuse to enlist.
