November 14, 1994 ... At #3, German Eurodance group Real McCoy, with Another Night. Real McCoy was the creation of German DJ Olaf Jeglitza. Another Night was a hit in continental Europe in 1993. Arista Records Clive Davis, who had successfully brought Ace of Base to the American music-buying public, decided to do the same with Real McCoys recording. Another Night reached #3 on the Billboard chart and charted again on the UK chart, this time climbing to #2. It became the best-selling single by a German act in U.S. rock history.
