November 14, 2014. Dateline: Seoul, Korea… Just returned from the site and it seems that there is a 5 minute window that from we can determine opens at or near dawn and then disappears as quickly. I want to express that we are being followed. I know that this will sound like something out of the tinfoil league but, we were. We agree that it is not the American or the Korean Security as they were too easy to spot and seemed unfamiliar with the district which first brought them to our attention and allowed us to lose them just as quickly. We speculate that it might be merely a reader of our column. Either way, they were locals but not from Seoul. There is some speculation that they could be from the north and that ties into that strange posting on our blog that asked too many questions. We have been very careful to not disclose the actual location and we do this as a piece of leverage that allows us to not disappear. It is very clear that the local authorities have expressed great interest in us just shutting up and this has gone beyond mere verbal expressions…I will leave it at that as I do not want them to feel that we are challenging them in any way…we are safe as long as they can dismiss us as tinfoil hatters and the minute we go beyond that line in the sand, we will no long be here…truly believe! The next step is what to do. We are still discussing what to do next. Tomorrow we will do that old SciFi staple of tossing a walkie talkie into the portal (on a rope) and seeing if we can pick up a signal and/or if we can retrieve it. This will test the safety of a more detailed exploration of this anomaly and determine if it would be safe to step over… What a thought…step off into a new world…this is how Columbus must have felt as he waited for the tide to turn in Lisbon Harbor on his way to find India. A lot to think about…a lot to do… We are making backups and placing them in secure locations should anything happen to us that give a detailed overview of our research over the past weeks and gives complete GPS location breakdown to the site – another level of self-protection…just in case! Still troubled by our shadow this morning because this means that someone takes us serious enough to try and find out. On one level this is a testament that we are speaking the truth but, still scary because we don’t know their motivation(s). More updates coming after our planning session later tonight. There is a 12 hour delay on these releases – yet another security measure…
