November 18 Memories History is the seedbed of the future. - Leo Booth I have a lot of memories-some good, some not so good. But I learn from them. In my recovery story I talk about the moment when I saw myself after a drunken car accident. It was the moment that led me into recovery. But real recovery is not based upon a single moment; it is about keeping that moment alive and embracing more moments. These special moments that lead to change are based upon memories. Thank God that I can remember. It is often painful, and yet in a mysterious way miraculous.With remembrance comes change. If I want a better tomorrow, I must be prepared to remember the past.
