November 25, 2013 Dramatic Crash on Golflinks Rd Sends Five to Hospital Police were called to a two car crash at the intersection of Golflinks Rd and James St at a quarter after two this morning. A red Pontiac that was eastbound on James St at high speed went through the intersection on a red light, striking the north bound black Nissan at an angle on the drivers side. Both vehicles then crashed and tipped on the northeast corner of the intersection. Extraction was required by Fire. A 24 year old male has been taken into custody, and charges are pending. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries and released to police. The 20 year old female driver of the Nissan and her three passengers were all taken to hospital by ambulance as well (and are expected to be released sometime today) Further details will follow.
