November 28,2013 Thursday, 34th Week in Ordinary Time Lord, heal my spiritual blindness and open my eyes to properly recognize and discern what is truly valuable from what is fleeting. Grant that I may heed Your Word of grace and salvation so I may dwell in Your saving presence in all the circumstances of my life. May I humbly open my heart to Your transforming love, trusting that You will show me how my weaknesses may be opportunities for me to grow in holiness, completely relying on You and Your providence. Inspire me to choose to cooperate with Your grace of conversion as I let You into my heart to rebuild Your kingdom within me that I might share in Your heavenly banquet where I may experience true and eternal peace. Help me to make the best use of my time now to serve You faithfully that I may joyfully anticipate Your return in glory. Teach me how to remain firm in my faith so that I may not fear the end of the world but instead look forward to everlasting happiness with You. May my spiritual life be full of hope even when I am burdened because I know that my faith, hope and love will last beyond whatever I suffer in this life. Amen Based on Today’s Gospel: Luke 21:20-28
