November Outing 2nd- 3rd Karragarra Island The next club outing will be in the Southern Bay area with our overnight location at Karragarra Island. This is a favorite venue for the Whittley Club with undercover picnic tables with lighting and electric BBQ’s on shore. This is generally a good all weather overnight location, and as usual we will anchor in the passage between Macleay and Karragarra on the northern side of Karragarra Island and to the east of the ferry terminal in the small craft mooring area. On Saturday we will meet up for drinks and nibbles (BYO) on the beach at around 4.00pm at the park on the north western corner of Karragarra. There is a small beach to the west of the Ferry Terminal and swimming enclosure to come in with your inflatable. You can also anchor close to the shoreline and take a short 100m or so walk to the park. There are Public Toilets located in the park, but no showers.
