November Update. It’s been another frustrating month waiting for the final edit to come to fruition. But I have to remind myself without the help of this post house the film may not have even been this advanced. I really am very grateful for their help considering the circumstances they have endured recently. The problems they had regarding their landlord going into admin was something that nobody envisaged. Despite the delays the main thing is that that we are progressing towards a release. Once I have seen the ‘new’ edit I will make my comments. The format of the story will not have changed, the scenes will still remain the same it’s just that the editor may have cut something or added something. So there really shouldn’t be any major issues. So by the middle of this month we should have the edit finished. Then we have to add the credits and intro titles. Then we will have the film ‘locked’ and the composer can complete the sound track while the sound editor cleans up the dialogue and adds ambience etc. In all honesty we are looking at January now for the film to be completed. Then we can then take the film to the distributors that have shown interest and of course go back to Universal on a take it or leave it basis. As I’ve stated before there is a lot of interest from both here and the USA and I’ve resisted the temptation to send anything to anybody right now. Let’s get the film in a deliverable state so that we can sell straight away and get some revenue coming in. Depending on which distributor picks up the film will depend on when the film is released. I don’t want to jump the gun here and state something that may not happen. What I will state is that 2015 will be the year the film is released and that all the cast and crew will be happy with the final outcome. A few people have asked about a ‘Trailer’. Well I have resisted making a trailer as I think that needs to be done and approved by the distributor. We could potentially shoot ourselves in the foot by producing one now. This really needs to be done when we begin our PR campaign for the release. Also the IMDB word has arisen again. I note the release date has now passed, I will update that asap, but again I have to say it’s still a mystery to who published this page in the first place. I can’t simply go on and change things as I don’t have the authority!!! Lol. I have to send emails explaining and I just haven’t got around to that bit yet. Again I have to state that I’m sorry it has taken this long to get to this point, but I owe it to myself, the investors, sponsors, cast and crew to make the best possible choices to ensure we get the best possible product to sell. I’ve been through a very tough couple of years fighting on behalf of all of us to ensure this happens. As you know it has always been my intention to release this film with my head help up high and with a clear conscious. Many have told me I’m too soft for the film industry, but I couldn’t live with myself if I let you guys down and walked away. That’s about it for now.
