November is Mouth Cancer Action Month. Be Mouth Aware! This important campaign is promoted to the profession and public throughout November and seeks to raise awareness of a disease that claims more lives than testicular and cervical cancer combined. Its estimated that over 6,500 people will be diagnosed with mouth cancer this year. However, with early detection, survival rates are 90%. Look out for the warning signs yourself and act quickly.
