November lyrics ;) I don’t know what it is about November, really... usually February is my month for lyrics... I weighed the pros and cons – whether to post this one here, but the weather got the better of me. :) I decided – since I did post its „lesser brother“, this one deserves its rightful place too, especially since it is the only one in many-many months, the first one this year and maybe the last one too... Funny, how extreme headache can transform into a poem, leaving me lightheaded... :) So, here goes, the sequel to 2009 November poem... *** I don’t trust you no more – yet again wind changing – cold draft closing the door... Yet another chance wasted... and furthermore... I don’t trust me no more – yes, I knew, I foresaw, yet I chose to ignore... Just debris of my soul washed up ashore... I don’t trust in us anymore: no man’s land: neither war, nor peace... Please... just leave... me to grieve in peace... Neither mercy, nor reprieve – please – there’s no point – I just don’t believe... Opportunity lost: my door closed and your window – smashed beyond hope... Clinging to thin air, I’m still hanging on the rope... Unbelieving, yet I’m walking the slippery slope... Not so sure anymore if truth can’t be cancelled – I kept calling till fingers sore... And just maybe God has answered, It’s just that my phone was switched off...
