Now Hiring – Product Solutions Specialist Central Region – Covering: ND, MN, SD, IA, NE – PMC136292 The Product Solution Specialist’s primary role is to bring expertise and in-depth knowledge of their Strategic Business Function to their area of responsibility, as well as nationally, to our Field Sales Force and our customers. This is done by developing long term relationships with dealers and major contractors as well as performing jobsite demonstrations and effective presentations to dealers and end-users. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Market Development Identifies and works to develop long term relationships with dealers/distributors and contractors, including specialty accounts. Develops channel competencies with the assigned products. Works closely with dealer sales representatives to seek out opportunities to sell their products. Participates in industry associate memberships to become familiar with the major contractors in the area. Training Communicates and applies the latest cutting edge information to the district, contractors, dealers and company’s Field Sales Force. Gathers and provides additional technical insight on the channel’s current offerings and tailors the approach of our presentations. Offers in-depth product and technical training to end users, municipalities, utilities, dealers and the company’s Field Sales Force in order to become “the expert” in assigned products. Participates in high level channel development presentations to assist in penetrating company products into the different channels and organizations. Delivers informative and compelling product presentations to contractors, dealers and the company’s Field Sales Force. Becomes the “Teacher” to the company’s Field Sales Force, end-users and dealers. New Product Evaluations Assists corporate personnel in field evaluations of new products. Communication Prepares and submits timely itineraries, call, expense and special reports. Communicates with the Regional Manager/National Sales Manager to provide detailed feedback on progress, capabilities and development of the personnel within the region in regards to their products. Safety Performs all job functions is a safe manner and maintains safety awareness. Reports known accidents, injuries and unsafe practices and/or conditions to supervisor. Qualifications: Additional years of experience or education may be substituted for each other as determined by Human Resources. A High School Diploma is required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction equipment sales or in the operation of equipment relating to sales. Excellent verbal, written and public speaking skills. Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Physical Demands and/or Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to operate a variety of motor vehicles such as truck, panel truck, compact equipment, hook up/unhook trailer, unload trailer. Must be able to lift 20lbs and travel up to 50%. This is an opportunity with a prestigious company.
