Now I Have A Dream I have a dream that one day little boys and little girls can play in any and every neighborhood and it be safe. I have a dream that one day I can walk into any place with anything on and not be judge by the color of my face. I have a dream that all of my people will choose education before segregation because little do we know, that’s what we are. Segregated by envy, segregated by jealousy, segregated because some choose money and money don’t choose them, so they choose to take from any and every one they can; everything that glitters ain’t gold. I was raised during a time when the schools and the government said God Bless America, but now it’s like the government and schools want to say America Bless God. I was raised during a time when we said the pledge of allegiance and had more respect for the teachers, now they go all against all allegiance and want to fight with all the teachers. So I have a dream that one day they realize that the teachers do the teaching like the preachers do the preaching, so the teachers are a blessing because they give you what you’re blessed with; knowledge. See me I was raised during a time in which racism existed, hold up; racism still exist. Well I was raised during a time in which ignorance existed; hold up; ignorance still exist. So I have a dream that one day all people will realize that racism is pure ignorance. I have a dream that one day we realize that the media is not here to teach us what’s going on, but here to show us what they want us to know. The only difference between social media and tv media is I can write and not have to listen, you can read and define retention and they can reach who I can’t reach, but we all can teach who we can teach; as long as they pay attention. I have a dream that one day if secular music is still the music of hits that at least secular music make some sense; when I die don’t bury me inside a Gucci store because I promise that would still make me feel some type of way. It seems like the only thing they want that music to do is get down and dumb down, from nae nae to play date, tricking to vixen, and bragging that they’re trapping and stacking; we’ll have to just see what happens when the vixens out of shape and the trappers lose the weight.
